John Francis – Director / Consultant

John has been involved in the agricultural sector for over 20 years. He has a technical background in agronomy, having worked in retail agronomy for eight years and as a NSW public service sector district agronomist in Condobolin and Albury for six years. John joined the Holmes Sackett team in 2005 and has been a co-director with Sandy McEachern since 2007. Areas of expertise include on-farm investment and farm profitability analysis. John developed the "Principles of Profitable Farm Leasing" course which he has delivered across Australia.
Sandy McEachern – Director / Consultant

Sandy has a long history with agriculture and still runs his own farm business. He has previously worked with Rabobank’s Agribusiness Consulting and Research Services and Agribuys, a software company selling procurement software to the perishable food industries in Australia, Europe and the US. Sandy joined the Holmes Sackett team as a consultant in 2002 and in 2007, became a co-director with John Francis. Areas of expertise include business analysis, benchmarking interpretation, timing of management events, stocking rates, animal health, capital allocation to improvement of livestock, pastures and infrastructure.
David Brown - Consultant
David was born and raised on a progressive sheep station in North West NSW. From an early age he has been working in the family business, and more recently, David has traveled the world working on farms in various countries. In 2010, David moved to Wagga to join the Holmes Sackett team as a consultant. He is currently completing his Mastors in Rural Science, through the University of New England, where his principle research topic is 'assessing the economic viability of mob-based walk-over-weighing technologies'.
Debbie Quirk - Benchmarking and Finance Administration
Debbie has lived in the Wagga region for the past 40 years. She has always had a strong interest in agriculture/farming which led to her joining the Holmes Sackett team in 2007 in a financial role. Debbie has now added Benchmarking administration to her list of duties.
Megan Short - Publishing & Office Administration
Megan grew up on a family property north of Wagga and maintains strong connections with agriculture/farming. Her sister Maree, a previous employee, helped establish her connection with Holmes Sackett, and led to Megan joining the Holmes Sackett team upon the completion of her HSC in 2007.
